As I posted in that thread, those are the worst written, most confusing instructions I've ever read. A 5 year old could write clearer

I initially got excited when I saw that there is a root for this phone. But when I saw the instructions, I opted to wait.

Although I'm new to Android and not the most computer savvy person, it seems to me that they were written for and by someone VERY familiar with Android and its operations.

I'll wait for the Idiot's Guide or the 1-Click version to come out.

Yeah, it is different then WM. Once unrevoked gets a hold of this (hopefully they will) then it will be a lot easier for those folks just getting into android. Usually they have a one click root method (just think of rooting as unlocking).

My goodness! Even for someone familiar to rooting would have problems with this. I would just wait for unrevoked people. Man, I still can't get over how bad those instructions are, geesh.

it is not as easy as unlocking WM phones but once you do it a couple of times youll feel comfortable enough and you will understand better the process

unrevoked is the way to go... best thing all can do is to wait for these guys to add it to their pool
