Looking for free internet radio
my friend had a free iphone internet radio app that he was blasting in his car the other day. the quality was excellent and the selection was unfathomable =)
i know there is sirius, and xm radio, but they require monthly subscription. is there a way to by pass the authentication or has anyone made an app for windows mobile? thanks |
Re: Looking for free internet radio
There is a scrobbler for Last FM and Pandora exists but it uses a compressed stream (I think 64k) which isn't as good quality.

Re: Looking for free internet radio
Try 1.FM.
They also use the MMS protocol so you can stream it on your Windows mobile assuming you have a data plan. |
Re: Looking for free internet radio
I use www.thestreamcenter.com, it works great, has both AM and FM.

Re: Looking for free internet radio
You could try a site like 000audio.com, or you could look into ShoutCAST websites. I personally like this one called laut.fm

Re: Looking for free internet radio
After reading this thread, I started up my Kinoma Freeplay app to check. It has Shoutcast channels. And if you click on Kinoma Guide there all all sorts of other radio streams, although the Clearchannel ones wanted me to upgrade to the pay version or Kinoma, many others did not. I also use the Lastfm app and ocasionally Pandora.
