Skype only working with speaker??

Skype only works with the speaker is there a to get it to work with the normal earpiece. I have tried putting the volume down and covering the speaker hole which works well but is annoying to have to do all the time and using a headset is even more annoying.

have to use bluetooth unfortunately, it won't go through the earpiece, because it's sound uses the regular app sound category, and is played on the same speakers that any other app play through

A quick and easy solution to that is to download and install fring. Set it up with your Skype account and you can use your earpiece speaker. Voila!

There is also the audio switch cab around here somewhere. It is not an automatic switch though so you have to open it then select the output you want and then it works through the earpiece...just not through a bluetooth headset though.
