Re: Chinese Input and Display

After spending many days on a solution to read Chinese on my HTC Touch Pro2, these what work for me:

I originaly was using the old 2005 fontpatch.cab, but that gives an activesync support code (0x80072F06) problem.

Tried the sunglobe.cab by itself, some website will work and the activesync problem goes away.

After looking high and low, I copied wince.nls from asian_wince.zip to \windows folder, and magically I got my Hong Kong region in back on Youtube and all other sites that used to work with fontpatch.cab work again but without the nasty activesync problem (Direct Push email).

Much thanks to Korand (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365160)

As for input, you can use either PlumSIP or ZTA4.

Good luck...

Re: Chinese Input and Display

I use Total Commander to copy the wince.nls to the windows folder. Hope this will help.
