Landscape keyboard isn't working...

Guys, once you do the registry hack for the landscape keyboard in text, how the heck do you activate it...thanks..

Yeah I got the registry change in there, but it doesn't unlock the option in the "long press end key" in settings, so when i hit it, it either just closes text messaging or when i hold it down, turns the phone radio off.

I think you have to go into settings and select buttons and the one and only option for buttons is the long hold on center pad button. Click on it and select rotate screen to be assigned. Before registry edit the rotate screen option was not available.

If this helps could you give me a play by play on how and where to do the registry edit since I have no idea how to do that step first.

You sir are the man...thanks so much, its working now. In "buttons" the only one you can map to is the call button, but once you do the registry entry, the option is in there for screen rotation. Thanks and here's the registry entry...

Enable Manual Screen Rotation (Portrait/Landscape): HKLM - System - GDI - Rotation - HideOrientationUI (change from 1 to 0)

I know that info but help a tech challenged guy. Where do I find that above area in Diamond? File browser -> Windows -> ???? Any help back appreciated.

U need a registry editor.. Probably do a backup of your existing registry first.
Pocket Hack Master has good free one.
