Unflashable Diamond? Serious challenge

Ok, got this thing NIB. Plugged it in, Touch Diamond flashes on the screen it vibs for a sec, then repeats continuously. So I screw around with resets, try a hard reset and the stock sprint ROM loads. I just can't I do stock (coming from a No2chem kitchened Mogul). I do another hard reset, enter bootloader and try to run the unlock. The From: image version when attempting it is blank. Phone makes it to the progress bar then fails with error 262. Any ideas?

BTW: if I repair at the end of the unlockmy winXP spontaneously reboots.

Are you flashing from storage or via USB?

If USB:
1. Try a different cable
2. Verify you can establish a working ActiveSync/WMDC connection
3. Re-Download the unlocker
4. Make sure you are using the correct unlock for what I assume is a Sprint Diamond
5. Try a different PC to get it unlocked if you can

I feel like an idiot. Righ after posting I read the directions, sloooowly. My ActiveSync connection was disabled. If your Image From is blank, ActiveSync needs to be running. Not just running, but connected. Hopefully, this is thread helps as my search came up blank.

or u can by pass all this a just put ur phone in bootload mode(tri- color screen) ! this puts ur phone on serial bootloader then when u connect ur usb it becomes a usb bootloader so theres no need for activesync! this is what i do so i can have very few services running on my computer(its more safe and makes computer faster)
