Re: Which Stable ROM Should I Get?

I just noticed the problem scrolling cities is only with California cities.
I tried Arizona and Colorado and I can scroll from A to Z with few problems in those states.
I cant get it to scroll cities in California once I get into letters D and later. It keeps hanging and go back to cities starting with C.

Have you ever reformated the Internal Storage? I know that at one point I was having strange issues and after I flashed stock cleared all storage then flashed custom ROM everything was fine. You may want to try that but not really sure if it will help.
I don't know how to clear and format the storage. Isn't that only for storing data anyway?
Is there some way to save the ActiveSync, email and RSS Hub settings so you don't need to reconfigure it every time? I'm really tired of reconfiguring all these accounts every time.

It sounds like there might actually be an issue with the manila US weather database. Have you tried downloading it via cab install yet? I would try that to see if it fixes it. Are you using Manila? or Titanium? (guess I should ask that first).

I have the Groovy ROM. I don't know where to get the weather cab or how to reinstall it.

Just to be sure I am correctly understanding, you have the Mighty Groovy ROM? Not the Groove ROM 5 correct?

I believe that ROM was Manila HD and I know there is a US weather database posted somewhere on this forum. I will see if I can find it and post a link.

It is perfect, but I couldn't get the weather by using WiFi (I don't want a data connection), and I couldn't add Canadian locations. Maybe a fix like the weather cab in manila?

Forgot: I would recommend Grass ROM, fast & stable & long battery.

Re: Which Stable ROM Should I Get?

I've tried a bunch. My vote is for MightyRom 4 final. Its WM6.1... I just don't like the 6.5 ROMs...

Not sure if you found a solution yet but I was doing a little browsing earlier and found this old thread that might help. Not sure but you could give it a try.
