Re: Help With Rom Flashing To Apache
I am haveing some what of the same issues, when i build the ROM i have too click the ok button while it builds about 30 times, then once i get about half way threw it gives me an error (i don't recall atm) i click ok and it then pops up a window wanting me too change some settings not sure what they are. and a button that says "doit" or "justdoit" i have too click the X button to contuinue the build. once completed it will start the flash like expected. how ever once it is flashed onto the 6700 it does not get pass the first boot screen and will not boot any further. please help. so frustrated that i bought a new phone today. but am giveing this to a friend and would like to have WM6.1 installed once agian. the phone has v1.00 bootloader, in the kitchen it has the selection for that version so that is what i use when createing the ROM. other then this new version of kitchen i have never had an issue with flashing WM6 or 6.1

It sounds like you have the notorious G'reloc problem (you see the DoIt! button when G'reloc fails). There are several solution, but the current rage is moving the build from a FAT32 partition to a NTFS partition. |

Re: Help With Rom Flashing To Apache
I run Vista 32bit is it even possible to install that onto a Fat32 format, in anycase how does that g'rloc error effect the ROM from not fully booting into WM6.1?
Edit: Disabled my Virus protection and no more errors. however once the ROM is flashed onto the 6700 it still will not pass the first Boot Menu showing the radio version numbers and things at the bottom. can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong please Edit1: Disabled Virus while building was causeing the issue, ran the RUU (flashed the phone) with the same build and BOOM all is well Last edited by koolhands; 01-14-2009 at 08:28 PM. |

Re: Help With Rom Flashing To Apache
It prevents some files from being able to load. Obviously, that can be devistating depending on which files are affected.
