Getting Error when trying to flash to WM6.1 - Page 2

Well the rev on BuildOS was set to v1.00 which I though was the problem because my phone is v2.02. But I still get the Error 101. This is so frustrating

You still get the error when you set buildos to 2.02 and try to reflash? Try doing a couple of hard resets on the phone first.

I appreciate all the help jabu. I did try a couple hard resets but I still have the same problem. One other thing, when the rom is buiding, I do get multiple requests to replace certain files. Is that normal?

Try hitting it with wm6.0, as ut starcom's link for the rom is down.

it's compressed with winrar. if you don't have it, google it to unzip it. then it should be a .exe file that you just run.

OK well I flashed with WM6 and now my phone is working again. I don't know if I am going to attempt WM6.1 due to the horrible experiences I have had. Is it even worth upgrading? What are the benefits?

Going from 6 to 6.1 is worth it. 6.0 sucks. Flash it again, but keep a few things in mind this time.
1) make sure you tell buildos what bootloader version your phone is.
2) make sure it is set up for the right provider, ie Verizon.
3) start small. build a stripped down rom and go from there.
4) if it DOES mess up again, you can always reflash it to 6.0 again!
