different weather program in htc home?

Hey guys I was wondering if there are any cabs out there that can replace the stock weather program with something else that works nicely with all cities.

Thanks

I have had no issues with the HTC Today plugin vers 2.1 . This allows custom weather locations.

hey eric. If you used HTC Home v2.1 and used the HTC Home Customizer you can make you own city based on the zip code. I have all sorts of custom citys even certain mountains I go snowboarding at so I can check weather there on my way.

ok i use weather watcher currently but it would nice to have it in the htc home app. I have never been able to get the build os to work right so I am just using the wm6 clean and simple rom. i dont want to reflash becuase i got everything set up so nicely.

Can I install the htc home again even if it is cooked into my rom? I still have enough space in my extended rom so it wouldnt be slow access from the storage card.
Thanks guys
Eric

Yeah you can install even though it is burnt into the rom. Thats what I did at first. There is an oem for the new HTC Home plug for the next time you cook one. When I had the old HTC Home I couldnt get the weather. With the new one and HTC Home Customizer it works and you can make a custom city list with the customizer. It just asks you for the name etc. then the zip code. Then it shows right up.

One other thing if you dont have a data plan turn off the auto update so you dont get ridiculous data charges. Plus the customizer lets you change the clock, icons, weather icons, plus a whole bunch of other stuff.

Heres the OEM its under post #8
