IMHO, WebOS is the best mobile OS on the street today. Palm failed at marketing it better and the hopes of seeing a new handset running WebOS seem to be fading.

As far as MeeGo goes, I don't see it worming it's way into the U.S. market...but that's just me.

Well as far as HP sounds like they are trying to use it in tablets and the like..even printers lol..but there was a leak for verizon saying about a palm pre 2 this October or November...

As for MeeGo..don't count it out yet..while Nokia isn't exactly big in the US market..Intel is...I can easily see Intel get a lot of hardware manufacturers on board with MeeGo...

Not to mention Intel got Asus and Acer on who promised MeeGo based netbooks and Tablers...with intel having a monopoly on the netbook market they could introduce the OS in that way to the consumers...

Also MeeGo is made for both x86 and ARM...if they can get the x86 Moorsetown project to achieve the ARM efficiency on cellphones(and it seems like they are getting close) we would be able to run any linux based software..thus getting huge developer support.

I kind of agree on WebOS, I was really excited at the concept but the devices they impliemented on are just horrible quality, dont see how anybody can use that crappy little keyboard and little weeny screen, lol.
