Samsung Intrepid...about to take a flight

Across my office.

I love this phone, it has everything I want but...

I cannot disable the chirp when it changes networks. I've tried disabling notifications, sounds, I checked every notification and determined they r all off or not the sound.

But all day, 5 days a week, it's chirping all day long (I work in a basement).

Where is the setting to disable the chirp when it changes from roaming to sprint to no network? I tried looking in the notifications area but it's not listed as one.

It's enough to drive someone mad.

Good idea.

It's just frustrating they would create an unchangeable setting.

I work in a basement where we have Verizon repeaters but often get a weak Sprint signal. I've tried setting the phone to roam only, but that causes problems when I leave work and forget to set it back to automatic.

Re: Samsung Intrepid...about to take a flight

have you asked sprint?

there is an option to set it to vibrate

page 51 in your manual = airplane mode

ps its also listed under call alert - p41 you just need to find it, in the sounds
