Is there a way to reset blackberry email password?
 

ok...in october when i first got my tour, i set up a sprint.blackberry.net email account. and then after a month, tour got replaced with a tp2 (long story). a sprint tech was helping me take out the previous owners email accounts that was setup on the phone yesterday. when he asked me what user name i wanted to use, i gave him the same one i used the first time. he said that i couldn't use that anymore since it's showing as being used already. he asked me if i remembered my password to the email (c'mon now...really?). i asked him if there was any way he can just reset it. he said there wasn't and that i needed to use a new username. now i kinda don't believe him.

so does anyone know if there's a way to reset your blackberry email password?...if so...how? would really like to use that first email account...but just can't remember my password. don't want to keep trying because when i did that last night, i got locked out of the blackberry email service. i guess for trying too many times with the wrong password. help would really be appreciated!

yeah i found the sprint.blackberry.com website...but no worky :( the send password option will not work because that email was set on the bb tour i got last october...which i don't have anymore. so it would be sending it to that phone. someone out there just got a few password reminder email...LOL. so i tried all the password i use and i got locked out. and wouldn't you know it....when i got locked out, i remembered the password for it. or at least im pretty that it's the correct one. i guess it's on the phone with sprint tech support again when i get home i a little bit.

thanks miss eenie. just not really happy with the one the tech suggested...its so formal...like an email for work. yeah..wasnt able to call tech support today. hopefully tomorrow i'll get a chance to ring them up.

you can make it anything you want so just have to give up the "great" one. LOL I keep forgetting what I used.
