Text Messages

My wife just got an Intrepid. Her first Windows phone, she had been using Palms. I have been using Windows since the 6600.

Her new phone is not sending Text Messages some times & sometime when she gets them it will show them on the home screen but when she clicks on them they just disappear. I did a soft reset & that worked for a few hours, but now its doing the same thing.
I did a search but didn't see anyone else posting about this problem.

Any ideas?
