Trouble with Titanium Weather

I am trying to install Titanium Weather on my Samsung Intrepid. It's got Windows Mobile 6.5 and I follow the directions but every time I get this error:

So I installed Mortscript support, now I get this error

Re: Trouble with Titanium Weather

Make sure you have v1.3, if not install the attached cab.

Then download this .mscr file and copy it to /Program Files/Titanium Weather/.

Run an update and it should work.

....also moving this to the Titanium Tweaks forum.
Attached Files
File Type: cab Titanium Notifications v1.3.cab (12.8 KB, 69 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: mscr TitaniumWeather.mscr (16.4 KB, 80 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Trouble with Titanium Weather

I installed that first thing, but the titanium weather never showed up in the start menu, so I installed another copy of it.

Got the same red X's but everything else seemed to work.

And unlike last time it actually uninstalled itself. Previously I had to do a hard reset to remove it.

Re: Trouble with Titanium Weather

Did you copy my .mscr file into /Program Files/TitaniumWeather and overwrite the one that's in there?

TitaniumWeather hasn't been updated and Accuweather made some changes so the old .mscr file causes the red X's.

Re: Trouble with Titanium Weather

Here you go buddy, install to device memory, you don't need to add anything, just install the cab file.

Thanks for this! I too was having the red icon issue and your cab fixed it right up. Now all that's left is the issue with radar.

Choosing radar for the first time I get a pop-up that says it can't open the url so I'm thinking something needs to be modified for my location. But clearing the pop-up and looking for a way to configure, all I get is a white screen that I must kill through the task master.

Can you point me in a direction to look?

Thanks!

Steve

you need to add a map url. long press on the radar screen will open a dialog box than you need to add whichever map you want
