sms incoming time problems

The time on my phone is correct but when ever i receive a sms it appears as 6:42 am even though it is 3:42 pm, the minutes are correct but the hours are always wrong, and when i send out a sms it shows the correct time. Ive tried hard to fix it but i have had no success, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This has been discussed alot, I've never had the problem, but search the forum and the answers are out there.
