Sprint Drops 20 cent per min call forwarding

I posted this at my other hangout already but I did just get an email from Youmail which I think I had signed up for only to find I would get charged 20 cents per minute to forward my calls to the service to have VVM. Anyway the email states that Sprint will be dropping the ridiculous charges to be able to use an alternate VM option like YouMail. I just read another post as well that mentioned this being the case so it should be applicable to Google Voice as well. I can't stand the standard voicemail as it it is by default so if this pans out it will be another great move for Sprint.

This has been confirmed a while ago at a Sprint conference (and subsequent press release) that they will be dropping the $0.20/per minute fee for all customers using conditional call-forwarding starting Nov. 8, 2009. I'll see if I can dig up a link for you...
