Confused about building rom

Ever time I try to build a rom it tells me the file is to big. I'm not really clicking much stuff out of what all is there. So is this really just a way to get wm6.5 on my device and every thing else needs to be individual loaded on the sd card. I'm using vrz vx6700.

Also what do I need to have to recieve and send pictures through text for verizon because it dosn't let me and verizon says it's activated on my account using wm6.1.

Re: Confused about building rom

The rom size ability of these phones are rather small, I tend to do a pretty clean install, I do HTC performance, notepad, PHM registry, camera, SDHC drivers, thats it. I'll install other programs afterwards to the extended rom, once that fills up I go to normal memory. It allows a consistant clean working flash to build from, but also takes longer to set up after a flash. To me its worth the extra 5 mins to install a few programs.

Try http://www.ppcgeeks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80608. At me it has turned out to contain more programs than in usual ROM
