Can I fix this?

I have a XV6700. I think it is bricked. It is stuck in bootloader and wont even "white screen of death" any more. It will not sync so i cannot use any of the updates to fix it.

MTTY WILL CONNECT to the phone.

Is there any way to fix this via usb with out it being sync'ed?

Im very software literate however im quite new to working with phone software.

I can supply any info you need to assist me.

Re: Can I fix this?

I would personally recommend mtty. It worked for me like a charm. Thought i bricked my phones several times. And worked perfectly.

Re: Can I fix this?

i have mtty, but I dont know what I am doing. I managed to use PPCGeeks PPC Kitchen to make a nice wm 6.1 OS.NB file, but i cannot get it to install. This is what I get....

USB>set 14 0
USB>set 16 0
USB>task 32
Level = FF
USB>task 28 55aa
Wait..
DOCInfoTableinitHW+
Binary0 Size: 0x100000
FAT0 Size: 0x4000000
FAT1 Size: 0xA00000
FAT2 Size: 0x2C70000
All Size: 0x7770000
FAT0_ADDR=0x100000,FAT1_ADDR=0x4100000,FAT2_ADDR=0 x4B00000
USB>task 0

phone shuts down

PC reads "USB Device not recognized"

Phone will not reboot unless i manually reboot it to hard reset screen (Press Y to clear data, N to cancel..) or the Boot Loader screen (USB v 1.04)

Are you attempting this in Vista or XP?

Re: Can I fix this?

There has been much talk on radio issues before here, if your radio says NONE then you're done, your hardware is fried and it's time to start looking for a neww device. If the spot is blank, flashing a stock ROM for a radio upgrade or changing the PRL might help bring it back. I do not understand how some of you guys manage to destroy the radio, I owned about 10 apaches and never did I have radio problems. If any neds help feel free to ask...

i dont know how it happened to be honest. i got my i910 in March so i put my xv6700 away. i brought it out recently to flash it but never got the chance cause when i turned it on the radio said none. i remember before somebody saying that was bad, but i wasnt 100% sure. oh well i guess no big loss since my masin device is the i910. thanks for the info
