Why is IE so slooooooooow at downloading stuff
Ever since I owned this phone, slow downloads using IE.
I was trying to download a podcast using my Apache, but it was going super slow, like <1KB/s. I know the phone can handle a faster download speeds. Should I: 1) change some registry settings? 2) use a different browser. if so what one. 3) download not to the sd card. HELP!!! Seems wierd that I can't download a podcast even at dialup speeds.

I can honestly say that mine was the same. I started using Skyfire and never went back.

THANKS FOR THIS INFO. IT WAS WHAT I WANTED TO KNOW.
I am very low in ram. Are there any roms with Skyfire and without PIE?

Sorry there are not. IE, is built in the base of the ROM. It doesn't take up any space for you, so just not using will be good enough.
