Yea, but I wanted to minimize the cabling required to use my headphones. That cable is only useful for the standard headset.

Yea. Thanks. So far so good. I wish I could use the open port to charge my device but that won't work due to the connection is in parallel thus supplying a 5V potential at the Open USB Port.

please give specs/brand/model and link for the audio adapter you used?
Also, do you know if the wiring on an OTG cable is the same as on the Treo USB charge/sync cable, with the difference being the OTG cable ends with a female plug?
I would like to get some peeripherals that are OTG-compliant, but I haven't seen that mentioned in any description as yet. Do you know of any keyboard, mouse, etc that can be used on the Treo by any chance? Are all headsets compliant?

I had tried more than once to download these on the Zeno site without success...
