Hi, I am running MightyROM 4/R3BORN on my TP and did all the "pumpkin pie orange" visual style changes from that post. Once done I wanted matching orange taskbar icons, as well as text (if possible) I thought it would be a simple change to do, just take the original icons, color them orange, and replace. 4 hours and half a bottle of aspirin later im more confused than i was when i started, and have succeeded in doing absolutely nothing aside from several hard resets. I thought i was a pretty smart guy when it came to these things, but apparently i was a bit wrong seeings as skinning the taskbar is too much for me at this point. I took a screenshot and edited using paint to show what im trying to do. I guess what im asking is for some advise on the simplest way to go about changing these icons to orange. Any advise is appreciated and i know where the Thanks button is located.

the softkeys and start dont really need to be orange i was just seeing how it looked i really just want to know if there is an easy way to jsut make my icons orange.

Taskbar text color (start and clock) is in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\9 add the hexadecimal code for the color you want in the Data part of the reg.


The bottom bar is in HKCU\software\microsoft\today\themename.tsk its one of those, I cant remember which one, maybe commandbar text or something...just play around with some of the that say text and you'll find it.

I'll look into the taskbar icons, it might be just skinning a bunch of png files.
