New radio update?

I noticed yesterday my treo was trying to update the radio automatically, i kept hitting cancel though because I don't know what's going on? is this a normal update or is something up?

update the radio??? cuz to my knowledge, the radio doent update by itself, u have to flash a newer version(now if im wrong, sum1 please care to post the correction for us) but r u sure it was for the radio?? has ne1 else heard of this happening b4???

the phone switches to a program called 'Phone Updater' and says opening power vision services to update new radio. weird. I might just let it go through and see what happens.

ok, but make sure u got ur stuff backed up first...just in case sumthin gets fudged up while updating. but i think it has to do with powervision services if ur on sprint

It was most likely pushing a newer PRL to your phone. That's normal behaviour and won't happen very often.
