No More 800w

I just got off the phone with sprint and they have officially discontinued the 800w because of the new release of the treo pro. Do you think if i have any problems with my 800w and needs to be replaced. Would they give me a refurbished model of the 800w or a treo pro?

Re: No More 800w

It's too early to expect them to run out of refurb 800w's. I'm sure refurbs will be available for quite a few more months.

Re: No More 800w

Refurb could be an open box item they can no longer sell as new, a return a customer did not like, or one that was broken and repaired.

Re: No More 800w

I got a refurb from my local sprint this sunday. It doesn't say refurb anywhere that I could see (no black lines over serial numbers or anything) and the phone felt physically new. The rubber grip and the screen were noticeably less worn out than my previous. All in all, felt like a new phone but I didn't get the box or any accessories. They're definitely not going to be running out of these and giving us new Palm phones for months I would imagine...but just letting you know in south Florida as of Sunday....they still have the 800w.

Re: No More 800w

dial ##786# and it will give you the life of the phone you can see if it is a refurb phone or not, plus the life timer, life calls, life data. activation date etc. I am sure most of you guys know that, but I am just saying for those that dont.

Wow I didn't know you could do that. I would never have known I have had over 85,500 calls since 7/08.
