Problem running Tomtom 7 on storage card

Hi, I have been trying to install Tomtom 7 (7.450.902 on my HD. Since the voices and maps together takes up like 1.8Gbs I wanted to install it on the storage card. However, when I was trying to run the program after installation. a message "Unable to start. Not enough memory available" popped up and kicked me out of the program. But when I tried installing the program on the internal memory, it works fine (I didn't copy the maps and voices into the internal storage though). Do anybody know why and how to fix it? I have a total of 194.17MB for program memory and usually around 114MB is free.

Thanks in advance!!!

Hello feron315

Have you tried formatting the card then installing. I managed to install TT 7.450 on my HD without any problems. I installed TT/maps/Voices to memory card. Try formatting the card then install TT then run TT then soft reset then load voices and maps to sd card then run again. Jez

I had the same problem initially. It appears there are various different versions of tt7.450........ and it is a bit hit and miss as to which one works. Try downloading another copy. Eventually it worked for me.

I have tom tom version 7.910 running on storage card, US and Canada full Maps. Voices. All on Storage Card and Working.
Using cooked rom miri v20 from xda-developers. Maybe its The rom that make it work. Hope this version will work for you. If not it the rom i am using.
