sero and treo 800w. help

my girlfriend purchased a treo 800w and we are trying to activate the phone. she had a rumor and sprint rep told her that the treo 800w is not compatible with her sero plan. i argue that i have a touch pro on a sero, why isnt the treo compatible. they send me to tech support and they say the same thing.

Has anyone had this problem? Im looking for any guidance, thanks in advance

well i got it worked out. to all that may run into this problem tell rep to tranfer you to the employee plan divison. they can modify sero accounts

really? sprint told me the $30 sero plan i was trying to get wouldn't work with my touch. they wanted me to pay $59.99.

I'm not sure if it really matters (but it appears it does), but I have the older 49.99$ SERO plan with the 800w and it has never been an issue. Mine has unlimited data though and I'm not sure if the 30$ plan does...perhaps that's why.

Of course they did. They've been losing money for how long? I'm surprised they're do this at all anymore.

u do not have to change to that $59.99 plan, they offered that to me also. the rep in the store told me that the problem was going from a basic phone (rumor) to a wm phone (treo), that they had to enable evdo or somethin.. i have the number to the employee plans divison, when i find it i will post it. the employee plans divison is suppose (from what i was told) to be the only reps that can modify the sero plans. for example, if u want to go from $30 plan to the $50 plan they can do it

as with anything with Sprint, talk to someone different, and get a different answer.
