Question Screen Protection on Treo's?

I had a 700wx with a sprint screen film on it and it did protect the screen but it look like **** over time i know have a 800w and am wondering if i should put a protective film on it? The screens are resesed and not as likly to get scratched as other phones so im just wondering how many do vs dont and why? please vot in the poll above.

Re: Screen Protection on Treo's?

I don't use one because I don't put anything in my pocket with my phone and I don't throw it in any kind of a bag. Its always in my left front pants pocket by itself.

Re: Screen Protection on Treo's?

i use a boxwave screen protector it comes with a special cloth and applicator to press out any bubbles and is washable and reusable.

13$ a rip off definitely. but it all comes in one package and i feel more relaxed about the screen not being scratched.

whats piece of mind worth? 13$.

Re: Screen Protection on Treo's?

I was using an old one I had from an IPaq that I cut down but took it off because it was wearing down. My screen is fine so far.

oh yeah, absolutely nothing goes into my pocket with my 800w!

But even on my old 6700, which hasn't been treated as well as my 800w, I never noticed the screen actually getting scratched, and it never had a screen protector.

Exact same here. I had a screen protector and it was hard to clean the small area between the casing and the protector itself. Always got filled with dust. My screen stays fine.
