Flashing AT&T Kaiser?

hi, my friend gave me his Kaiser from AT&T. he wants me to flash it and put the gps rom on it. what all do i need to do for this please. what is the best rom to use? the rom he has on now is v1.57.502.2, radio v1.27.12.11

The simplest way is to flash the official ROM from HTC on their site. That way if anything goes wrong you can bring it to AT&T since its a supported upgrade. Once you do that you can either continue using their ROM or you can flash a custom one. You can check out the XDA for tons of custom ROMs.

Quick clarification. Are you wanting the new AT&T rom with GPS support or are you looking for a GPS specific rom like a Garmin or something to that effect.

If you just want the AT&T rom with GPS support then LilSnoop40 gave you the answer by going to HTC site for official download. If you want something else, give us some more specifics.
