WM6 (VZW) update pains

So I finally decided to d/l and install Palm's official WM6 update. Downloaded and extracted to my PC and to a formatted SD card. Won't install from either. Per Palm's instructions when installing via USB, the following file should appear and be installed..Treo700wx-1.24-VZW.exe. Doesn't appear anywhere. No luck via install via SD card either. However,the UpdInfo.dll is present on the card.

What the f**k, over?

Update 9/27-Contacted Palm T/S. SD updater file was corrupt. Got the desktop updater and everything went swimmingly. As a side note, I have 41 MB free with the following installed:

Is therea way that you can provide me with the link to download the WM 6.0 from Verizon. I would like to do it from my SD card.
I use this ROM on my 700wx -1.10-ROWSP on the Verizon Network.

Cruzzy-The update is actually provided by Palm for Verizon based devices. Here's their link..http://www.palm.com/us/support/downl...6/verizon.html

Let me know if this doesn't work and I can send the desktop updater

PM'd you a couple of days ago. The file is 38MB, so that's way too big for the mail server to handle. Tried sending via my GMail and RoadRunner accounts, but neither worked. Go here to D/L...http://www.palm.com/us/support/downl...6/verizon.html Pretty simple from that point on. Sorry I couldn't get that file to you. Let me know if you have any questions w/ the d/l and install from Palm's site

After the download, I received an erroe message: product not supported!
I think is because I'm using a 1.10-ROWSP a custom ROM
I guess I will have to get the original WM 5.0 from verizon so Ican update to WM 6.0
What do you think?
