Re: tethering xbox live?

To tether xbox I bought a router, Manufacture:Cradle point,Model:MBR 1000. This router is a cellular ready router, instead of hooking up a modem to it, I hook up my touch enable Internet Sharing and there you go.Ill find the web site and post it later when I get home

It cost me 250 USD at BB

Or you could just bridge the connection from your PC.

You can go to Control Panel - Network Connections and make the tethering connection shared by going to properties - Advanced - Check the box for sharing your internet connection - Apply and Your connection should now display shared. Connect the ethernet from the pc to the 360 and you have a xbox live connection.

As far as sprint finding out. The answer is no. I have been using my Phone to tether an xbox live connections since November of last Year with no issues or warnings from Sprint.

The only downside is that you might have to configure your Firewall to get it to work. At first I could not connect. When I configured my Firewall it started running fine.

Or disable the firewall if it becomes complicated and enable it once your done playing.

Re: tethering xbox live?

You can use WifiRouter and the wireless adapter for Xbox with adhoc network, used it for a while.

It looks like your is using a 6800 which has that feature. The touch does not.

But its a good thing to point out to all those 6800 users.

Re: tethering xbox live?

wifi router is pretty cool. I may decide to cut off cablevisions phone and internet jammy. My 360 is the main reason I kept optimum online!
