Can't install .cab files and can't open .zip files

Hi guys, I just received my AT&T TIlt in the mail yesterday, but when I open PIE and go to download the HTC Home plugin, etc., I can save the file to my phone, but when I click on it it says that the file is either corrupt, damaged, or incomplete. The same happens when I try to open .zip files.

Any help?

you may wanna try PocketRAR 3.71 at http://www.rarlabs.com. you can replace file format to winrar in place of zip format.

and as far as cab files go (according to my experience), they tend to disappear after you install them from the storage card to the device, but it could be with most GSM devices.

i have 50 cabs on sc and install them using uc everytime i flash but i have yet to have one "disappear".

u might be dl'ing a corrupted or bad cab to start

when i install cab files to the device via storage card, it installs fine, but it has a hitch to it which states that the software is also not trusted from my last experience.

I think you may try to recover the .zip file. There is a tool called Advanced Zip Repair. I have used it to repair many corrupt Zip files on my damaged disks successfully. I'm not sure if it works for you, but you can just try the free demo.

I can't download zip files from the internet. Meessage states Central directory not found, disallowing me the zip ddownload period!
How can I download zip files from my 8925 Tilt??!!
