New Member: needs help flashing TP from Alltel to Verizon & advice installing Androi

I'm new to the forum. I came here to learn how to flash my Alltel HTC TP so I can use it on Verizon. I see that Android can be installed on it and would like to do so. Is there a certain order I need to do this in? I have been going through the various posts and I'm a bit overwhelmed. Would appreciate any advice anyone can give me!

Thanks!
F

Re: New Member: needs help flashing TP from Alltel to Verizon & advice installing And

Unfortunately most carriers "lock" devices in (especially CDMA ones).

So putting the phone on another carrier is not going to be feasible (at least not to be discussed here).

As far as putting Android on it, you might want to look at another phone. The RAPH's Android support never really got so great unfortunately. However, if you do want to run it - there's pretty much 0 risk as it all runs on the SD card (and WinMo is untouched/still on the phone).
