E3D died, Help please

I'm having a crisis moment with my phone. I had it running on an OMJ Rom.

I put the phone in my holder and when I went back to it, it was off. I try to turn it on and get nothing. I tried numerous things and I don't know else to do.

Tried:
1. Tried to turn it on regularly with the on/off button.
2. Tried to turn it on holding the volume down button.
3. Plugged it into the wall adapter and the LED doesn't light. Left on the charger for over an hour.
4. Plugged it into the computer and the LED doesn't light.
5. Removed the battery for 5 minutes.
6. Removed the memory card.
7. Plugged in at the store, just to try different power sources.

Still to try:
1. Go to the Sprint store and try a different battery.
2. New phone?

I haven't dropped my phone recently. If I did it was like a year ago.

I bought it from Amazon Wireless on 6/27/2012. I'm wondering if I can do anything through warranty.

I'm guessing you don't have sprint coverage, You get a one year manufacturers warranty with HTC so I would hurry and start a ticket with HTC support

Re: E3D died, Help please

No insurance, but I am under warranty. I paid the $35 for them to send it back in to HTC.

It was diagnosed as a defective charge port.

Re: E3D died, Help please

It was swapped out in store for $35. I'm not sure what they are doing with it. The $35 was for them to send it back to HTC. I thought it was worth it to save the hassle of sending it in myself and having no (android) phone for who knows how long.
