Mobile Excel and Word

I am running WM7 on HTC Trophy. When I click on Word or Excel, the device seesm to go through exploring word and windows (tutorials, etc..). I just want to open the programs directly. Am I missing something or is there a more direct way to open Word and Excel?

According to me,you should use the background shortcut of the HTC Phone. Then you can easily open the Word and Excel file directly.

Tried so many times but can't open excel files in mobile ?

Might they be saved as the newer or older types of Microsoft Excel files? I mean the older versions might be easier to read than the new 2012 versions.

I've also older version of microsoft excel installed in my system. Keep sharing it in future too..
