Help needed for Italian ROM

Hello all,

I have a Sprint RHOD400 CDMA where I would like to put a ROM in Italian for a friend of mine not speaking english.
I was not able yet to find one apparently suitable for it.
All I found was made for GSM version, I guess.
Does anybody know if this Italian version exists for CDMA RHODIUM?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Ciao

Ettore

Hi, one option that isn't really a ROM is the Android ports. I'm running FRX07 and it has Italiano as a language option. It's not completely refined as native Android but it does most of what is needed for daily use.

Re: Help needed for Italian ROM

Thanks for your quick reply.
I am not much familiar with Android and how to load it on the Rhodium. Is there a link you can suggest where I can get some info on how to use it properly?

Ciao and Happy new year!!!

Re: Help needed for Italian ROM

I forgot another couple of questions:

1) How do you set the italian language to be active on FRX07?
2) Will the phone work in your opinion with the Italian mobile network after installing Android?

Thanks again.

It is in settings>language & keyboard>select language.

I really can't answer that, as I don't know....but the TP2 being a world phone, I think it is possible. I would post that question in the thread I gave you in the previous post, you'll get a much better answer there than I can give.

Re: Help needed for Italian ROM

I installed successfully FRX07 and it seems to work fine, apart from the fact that I need to manually set the GSM/WCDMA to be able to connect to the mobile network but I will look for solving this.

Thanks again for your help.

Ciao

Re: Help needed for Italian ROM

I'm sure a chef like @elesbb could download the GSM version of the Italian rom and then recompile it for CDMA. All it is is a different SYS file, I would do it for you but I don't have home internet and I'm almost to my quota.

@eric12341 can you link me to an Italian ROM ? does it include the EXT language files as well or just the SYS ? ive already made a German one but i could only get the SYS to be in German and not specific things like youtube for there was no German youtube EXT .
