Is there any new maintenance release scheduled in near future such as FRX07.1 to update to bleeding edge but reasonably stable improvements?

I only do full bundle updates when something in the system image has changed... Nothing has changed in the FroYo system image.

You can get zImage (kernel) and rootfs updates via Incremental Updates.
