I need help on my Android

Well, I installed android on my touch pro 2, I have Simple Mobile, which is a company off of T-Mobile, I have a data plan, but for some reason, I can't get it to work, even though the settings are on it. Anyone can help?

Never heard of this carrier - do you need some special proxy settings or something to connect to the internet? Do you have an IP? Can you ping? What did you try?

I assume data works fine in WinMo? Have you checked & compared the settings...?

I'm wondering if the OP used a CDMA build instead of the GSM build, would that cause the same issues?

Surely you mean build of WinMo. Android doesn't have separate CDMA/GSM versions (at this time... seems we might need to split at some point).

I would think if he flashed a CDMA-only build on WinMo, that would be bad. Dunno if it would brick it or not...

So OP - data works in WinMo?

I thought the older NAND builds were cdma/gsm specific?

NAND is an entirely different animal, and pretty much OT in relation to this problem as NAND has never worked for GSM folks.

Um, to setup the internet, you have to put settings in, but the problem is it doesn't work on WinMo either.

If it doesn't work on WinMo, it certainly won't work in Android. Sort out your issues, then try Android.

You also completely ignored my original questions. Good luck.
