Until my Sprint contract expires and I can get rid of my Palm Treo Pro "phone" (if you insist on calling it that). And seriously, thank god. This phone has given me nothing but slow performance and problems:

*I would answer a phone call and it immediately hangs up.
*Deleted random contacts.
*Internet explorer freezes and locks the phone.
*Doesn't play music files.
*Text messaging screen only responds to screen taps instead of keyboard commands.
*And many more frustrating moments I would need to time to recall...

I previously owned a Treo 650 and thought it was god's gift to cell phones. I switch over to this thing and it's a piece of trash. I don't know what the enthusiasm is over this phone, but I wish I could have experienced some of it.

I'm going with a Blackberry.

Keep in mind that any new smartphone will require you to upgrade your plan, minimum $79 per month solo, or $139 per month family.

I'm happy with my Treo Pro, and have found workable solutions for all my problems. This is a useful forum, and the one at treocentral is, too.

Unless your plan is Sero. Then for all 3g smartphones it's only $10 more which makes it $40 or make it $50 for a 4g phone. So what plan do you have?

Right now I'm paying $35 a month for 500 minutes and unlimited texting. I'm going to switch to the T-Mobile everything plan for $49 a month: unlimited data, text, and talk.

I hate Sprint too. Nothing but bullshit from them. I know that every cell phone company will round your minutes upward but they claimed I would get unlimited picture mail with my plan. Turns out that I still have to pay for the data to transfer pictures. So I had them block data which effectively renders "picture mail" unusable. But my monthly price stays the same. Assholes.
