3VO to SDTV?

My apartment is only wired for cable in the living room, and the leasing office won't let us get connections in any of the bedroom...a-holes. Anyway, I have a 27" SDTV in storage (HDTV is in the living room), and I'm wondering if there's any way to mirror my 3VO on it so that my gf and i can watch Netflix in our bedroom. Sure, we could just both watch on my phone...but that get's annoying; trying to hold it in view of both of us for however long...

Anyway...any ideas?

Also, does anyone have a link to the exact cable and adaptor I need for HDMI out?

Re: 3VO to SDTV?

I don't think that would work..Netflix has DRM..if you do not have a connector that supports DRM it won't work :/..and the movie industry hates analog connectors the most..

If you have a laptop that has S-Video out, you could plug in your laptop to the SDTV and watch netflix that way vs using the phone. That's how I ran it for about 6 months in my bedroom. You will also need the audio plug (3. 5mm plug on one end and the red, white audio plug on the other) that was the only way I could get netflix in my room without a HDTV.

You can get an HDMI to Composite converter. They're $40 to $50 on ebay. Then connect your Evo 3D to the MHL adapter (Sprint and T-Mobile both sell it), the MHL adapter to the HDMI converter, and the HDMI converter to your tv.
