New voicemail that cannot be downloaded?

Hello,

I have checked - I have no voice mails. I have none showing in the voicemail icon. I have called voicemail twice - made sure to press 7 * to clear anything even though it says I have no voicemails. I have tried pulling the battery on my phone. I still get the voicemail indicator in the top left corner of my screen.

However it does say I have a new voicemail that cannot be downloaded.

How do I get rid of the voice mail indicator top left screen? I have also tried retry download.

Re: New voicemail that cannot be downloaded?

I thought pulling the battery cleared the app cache?

I do not currently have any sms apps.

Re: New voicemail that cannot be downloaded?

I'm not sure why but after 3 days of trying to retry the download it went through. I'm glad the voicemail finally downloaded but I can't can't explain why it got stuck in the first place. The strange thing is the voicemail it downloaded was from this morning, so I'm thinking the new voicemail exorcised the ghosts of voicemails past.

Sprint wants you to pay for their voice mail service. Didn't you noticed that when you first got the phone and you got your first voice mail, the Sprint Evo informed you that there was a 30 days free voice mail trial?

That wasn't for the voicemail service. Just the voice to text feature. Sprint voicemail is free.
