WP7, new minimum requirements

Microsoft's latest WP7 chassis spec includes second-gen Snapdragon, optional gyroscope -- Engadget

So it looks like WP7 upped the minimum specs..and suprisingly allowed an 800mhz phone in even though 1ghz was suppose to be minimum (even though its obvious the 2nd gen snapdragon even at 800mhz is superior)

So now we can continue the discussion on before..as it seems M$ chose the route of frequently updating the minimums..which boils down the question...what happens to all the people that bought a 1st gen snapdragon devices? are they gonna continue to get updates or be left out? (and if so for how long)

why goto Engadget? there's so much better sites out there. they always bash or harp MS.

i don't think it was a bash much as it's already being stated on several sites that ms is changing specs .. here's my thing next week i'm getting 1 b4 that change happens oh and gten i think it will continue why would ms wanna go back over what they already have out just to dimmer down the specs hence updates will continue regardless of the lowered specs ..
