"Can't send: Media content in this message"

"Can't send: Media content in this message"

I have been unable to send pic messages, and recieve messages my friends send to me. I:
1) "hard reset" the phone last night
2) hit the "change network profile" located in "cellular" Settings
3) hit the "prl" as well for sake.

I recieved the pic mail from my friend, but I could not send pic at all. Is there a work around? Took 2 hrs to put all my apps, settings back
Any ideas? the "media" is just a picture, not a video file( won't even try until I figure this out)
thanks

I notice this also, I received two messages stating can't send message. I know I was in a poor reception area (mall). But what's strange the person received it none the less. That's happen on 2-3 times. Not sure smh

Re: "Can't send: Media content in this message"

"Update"
I went into Sprint store, showed them that I could not recieve picture messages, or send picture messages. The technical support told me that it was due to pics being 5mps and not smaller. So we tested the theory, once again nothing happened. They then told me they had to hard reset my phone. After doing so still nothing happened. They switched out my phone gave me a brand new Arrive. Since then I have tested with my friends that have iPhone 3G, Motorola Droid X, and HTC EVO 4G. I did not do anything to update prl, just had my data and wifi on, at home- while redownloading the apps i had to put on my new Arrive. So don't know if it was radio fix for my profile with Sprint, or phone who knows, maybe its not an isolated incident.

A defective Arrive? I hope that's not what is causing my Microsoft Exchange Sync issues!

My mms works good now, I noticed when sending pics to other carriers I got a message stating the size of the pic was to large for that carrier. But that person still got the pics.

Re: "Can't send: Media content in this message"

I had the same issue but I noticed that it started after installing the "Connections Manager" app.

Called Sprint and after trying a few things with no luck they had me reset the phone.

Problem solved.

Re: "Can't send: Media content in this message"

I used to get this on my arrive and a similar message on my tp2 in its last days. I linked it to the blizzard which fucked up sprint service in my area, since its now starting to improve I haven't seen that error anymore.
