Audio Static in Call after using Dialpad?

Running arrrghhh's FRX06 build (my first real Android install I guess)...

Noticed when I am in a call and use the dialpad (ie. VM) as soon as I touch the first digit, the sound pops, becomes louder (maybe using external speaker) and has a static sound to it.

Anybody else experience this and/or know of a fix?

Re: Audio Static in Call after using Dialpad?

To my knowledge, this is a known bug. I think it has something to do with having a phone call active and there being system sounds. For example, when I someone I'm talking to hangs up, the phone makes a double beep. You can hear the static kick in right before the call is completely ended.

Also, when a call waiting comes in, same effect happens.

Simple fix for dial tones is to disable as mentioned before.

The static I'm sure is related to the way audio is handled on the kernel somewheres. Our builds suffer from it, native Android devices shouldn't... at least not from the factory .
