Problems with custom Titanium Panels?

I'm hoping that I'm not the only one who has this issue with installing custom Titanium panels on my Fathom running LG's V7 rom.
I can download any panel and try to install it, but it won't show up.
I follow the typical: Disable Titanium, Soft-reset, install panel, soft reset, enable titanium, soft reset... nothing.
The only panels that I've gotten to work are the ones from the Home Screen Configurator app found on the marketplace.
I'm trying to get just one panel to install: Taskanium, but nothing makes it work.
Does someone have a suggestion as to how to get them to install on the Fathom?
Thanks

Re: Problems with custom Titanium Panels?

you have to enable the panel maybe??? use CHome editor... find the panel on the right side of the screen and make sure youve enabled the Panel.... yes 9x out of 10 the panel auto-enables, but its worth a shot...

and you dont need all those resets man... just turn titanium off, install the panel, turn titanium back on.... I use to have so many self-made custom panels, never needed to reset inbetween...

Re: Problems with custom Titanium Panels?

I've used cHome editor to enable them (or to check they are) but they just won't show up.
Is there something I need to do before trying to install these custom panels?
Do I need mortscript?

Re: Problems with custom Titanium Panels?

I did finally get mine to work, but it can be a somewhat lengthy process.

1: plug phone into PC
2: enable viewing hidden files.
3: install "incompatible" Titanium plugin
4: on PC, browse to \Windows
5: find Titanium_480X800.cpr and Titanium_800X480.cpr and copy them to your desktop
6: find VeriHomeScreenExtended_480x800.cpr and VeriHomeScreenExtended_800X480.cpr and do the same
7: open the Titanium ones in your favorite XML editor
8: find the listing for your new plugin
9: copy the listing from the 480x800 titanium file to the VeriHomeScreenEXtended_480X800.cpr file
10: do the same for the other resolution
11: drag the two VeriHomeScreenExtended.........cpr files to your phone's \Windows directory
reboot phone
enjoy

Re: Problems with custom Titanium Panels?

I had the same problem, actually. I ended up messing up titanium so much that I could not restore it back to even its original condition. Did a hard reset. However, alongside this I had experienced very slow locks for the gps. I found a gps2day today plugin that got me a lock in less than 15 seconds....so decided to drop Titanium alltogether and install the Resco Today plugin, HTC clock, Elecont weather ribbon and the gps2day plugin. Now loving my phone more than ever before, and do not miss Titanium!
