Bluetooth Dongle/Adapter W/XP

Ok, im looking for a a usb bluetooth adapter for my netbook that uses the microsoft,i believe widcomm, NOT broadcom bluetooth stack. i have an older dongle i got like 5 years ago and doesnt use the bluetooth drivers built into XP. ive seen like hundreds of the .99 ones on ebay/amazon but not sure if they work.

I WANT TO USE ACTIVESYNC! that is main goal/purpose. ive tried everything with my current and it didnt work at all. tried configuring ports for incoming and outgoing, activesync fails to recognize it...the PC reads it with bluesoleil, but no activesync bluetooth option.

PLEASE HELP!
