Incoming call received late.

Incoming call received late.

Noticed when I call my Touch Pro from any wired phone, I can hear it ring on the wired phone 2 to 4 times before the Touch Pro actually starts to ring. My wife’s Touch Pro does the same thing.

Is there a fix for this?

If not what causes this?

I would like to have the Touch Pro ring longer, so we can answer it, before the call goes to voice mail.

Thanks,
Skid

You can try changing the Slot Cycle Index as described in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/windows-mo...ce-tweaks.html

I set mine to 0 and it helped a bit. I was also having problems receiving calls while roaming. I flashed the Verizon radio and it solved that problem.

Re: Incoming call received late.

Hi Rich_e,

Did what you suggested and it worked great! Now when using the wired phone to call the HTC TP, you hear it ring on the wired phone, and on the cell phone it shows the call coming in imediately.

Thanks,

Skid

Re: Incoming call received late.

My wife thought I was ignoring her because her calls went to voice mail until I got it straightened out.

It's a good thing you got it fixed, that situation could be dangerous to your health. LOL
