Re: wp7 trouble for android?
I've gotta say, that "article" is too thin on any substance to be considered a good read.
That being said, competition is good for innovation. Bring on the competitors. Without iOS and Android, Microsoft would have just produced another update to WM6 and called it WM7. Management made a good decision to shake things up and start from scratch.

Re: wp7 trouble for android?
The article is neither extensive or logical and offers essentially nothing to back up its assumption that WM7 will displace Android or iPhone as the most popular OS.
I used WM for over ten years and it just finally wore me out. I switched to Android about 8 months ago and have been pleased with it so far. Its not perfect, no OS is and I've used just about all of them, but it works for me for now. Once WM7 is out I will take a look at it and see what I think. I'm not a diehard fanboy of any OS, I use the one that works best for my needs and comes on a hardware device that I feel comfortable with. WM7 will get a hard look from me when it comes to either VZW or Sprint. I'm not dissing WM7, but this article was a waste of digital "ink", pointless and offers nothing of interest or value. Re: wp7 trouble for android?
I dont think it will be a threat to Either Android or iPhone. But I do think it will end up being a big player, and we should see some nice competition between them.
It just really sucks to be an app developer since there would be 3 platforms to develop on

Re: wp7 trouble for android?
The competition is healthy... I like what's going on in the cell phone arena.
It looks as though most of us will have a choice we are most comfortable with and there's nothing wrong with that. p. |
