Flashlight Always on. How to disable??

Hello guys.

My phone fell into the water, and well, I removed battery, left it drying up for about a week, and afterwards, everything works fine, for just except one thing...the flashlight is always on, but seems like it's dim not the way it should be.
Although it works if I activate it, take a picture or use it as a torch, when not in use, instead of being off, it looks very dim, so it is there.

My question was if you guys knew how to disable it from being on and just deactivate it for good.

I would appreciate any ideas, thanks!

Re: Flashlight Always on. How to disable??

If you say it is dim and when you use the camera it goes full light then most likely disabling it will not help you. It sounds like your phone has it's electronic component failure when it doesn't shut fully. (like leaking water tap).

P.S. If you don't have warranty (most likely it won't cover your phone anyway because of the water damage) and you want to preserve the phone battery then the only way to do it will be to physically remove the LED.

Re: Flashlight Always on. How to disable??

This may not work but its worth a shot. Download the hTorch Flashlight app, turn the light within
the app, then turn it off. Hopefully this helps!
