How do you stop opera from inserting "http://" automatically?

How do you stop opera from inserting "http://" automatically? I'm using Opera 9 on my TP2.

It makes it difficult to access opera's config file at "about:config". I can't even save it as bookmark, because Opera automatically adds "http://" in front when I save it as a bookmark and makes it useless.
