Intercept tethering How to(yay)
After 3 long days of serching i finally pieced everything together and got tethering working without root.i did not create this zip file. big ups to users in this thread for making it easy by finding the appropiate drivers for us. http://androidforums.com/samsung-mom...tethering.html
step 1. download this zip http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PGWUG4DU step 2. download pda net from the market and install to the intercept step 3. go to settings, applications, development, and enable usb debugging step 4. plug intercept into pc step 5. choose to automatically search for drivers(it wont find them) then choose to search from a specific location on you pc. where ever you extracted Azilink.rar to choose that folder. it will find all the drivers u need and install them. step 6. install pda net on you pc. it will ask if you to install another driver install them and you ready to go. my wife is using easy tether lite for tethering. I have a question though, does the intercept (and epic for that matter) need to have any "masking" done so there aren't any xtra charges for tethering? I remember that was something that was need on the tp2 & wm. if so, what's the process/app needed?
she didnt go with pdanet because the one in the market needed an additional driver installed on her laptop. Sent from my Epic 4g using Tapatalk Pro.
